Homes in Park Place
Wilshire Homes built the majority of these homes and they are all very light and open with lots of windows, and high ceilings. These same homes were built in more expensive neigborhoods and this makes this small community a very good value. This neighborhood is very wooded and the lots are a little wider than some lots today. The homes are all 3 sides brick, and the lots are wooded with oak trees. If you enjoy having a large back yard with lots of trees, you should check out Park Place. Cedar Park has a neighborhood where these Wilshire Homes are built and they cost a lot more than the ones here in Park Place and they do not have the upgraded amenities that these homes have. This neighborhood seems like a "no-brainer" to me.There is also a beautiful wooded park. Palomino Park is about 5-6 minutes away and is also a small neighborhood but a step up in price and interior amenities. You will pay more in Palomino Park but if you like a small neighborhood, you may love this one.
Shopping in Cedar Park
There is a vast amount of shopping within 5-6 minutes of this neighborhood. There are several strip centers at Hwy. 183 and FM 1431, all types of businesses and services up and down Bell Blvd. from Park Place and Lakeline Mall about 6 minutes South of the neighborhood.
