Oak Ridge Homes

The homes that were built there at that time are very unique as they take on the look of homes that were built decades earlier.  They are brick homes with front porches and many people here call them “Granny Homes”.  They have great curb appeal.

Oakridge real estate has various builders who built here in 1990′s, giving an eclectic appearance.  Scott Felder began building in Oak Ridge in the early 1990′s and built some beautiful homes that he built in higher end neighborhoods for much more money.  There are good values in Oak Ridge for the money.  Ryland Homes bought Scott Felder and Ryland built the majority of the neighborhood from the middle section to the back section.

These Ryland homes are attractive homes and are known for energy efficiency.  Oak Ridge is a good neighborhood for homes less than $200K.  It is also a pretty neighborhood.  Some of the sections are wooded.

Ridgewood North is adjacent to Oak Ridge.  One never knows when leaving Oak Ridge into Ridgewood North.  Homes in Ridgewood North are by Lennar and and are all one story homes. You may want to check this neighborhood out also.

The neighborhood has a pool, tennis courts and a playground.  Pleasant Hill Elementary is just across the street from the neighborhood in Horizon Park.  There are fairly new middle and senior schools within 10 minutes of Oak Ridge.
Shopping and Transportation

The Gateway Shopping Center is about 5 minutes away and is anchored by Lowes and Kohls.  This neighborhood is very convenient to everything.  Toll road 183-A is 5-8 minutes from Oak Ridge.
